How does USU help students reach their career goals?

United States University provides professional and personal educational opportunities, with a special outreach to underserved groups. Through campus and online courses, the University offers affordable, relevant and accessible undergraduate and graduate degree programs and certificates in a supportive student-centered learning environment. Career Services is designed as a one-stop-shop to support all students and alumni with their career-related needs. In addition to Career Services, all students can expect to develop employability skills and knowledge throughout various course activities, assignments, and/or hands-on experiences within their program.

I have never had a job before, does USU help me prepare for one?

Does USU provide guaranteed job placement post-graduation?

At this time, United States University does not guarantee employment post-graduation. However, Career Services provides numerous resources, employment and recruiter connections, and rotating virtual workshops to ensure you feel confident and prepared for the next steps post-graduation.

What is 12Twenty?

12 Twenty is USU’s career management system equipped with employer and recruiter connections, current openings, upcoming events, salary information, and more. New and current students have access to 12Twenty throughout the duration of their program. Upon graduation, students transition to "Alumni" status and have access to the platform for one year following their graduation year.

How do I create an account?

Here’s how you can get started with 12Twenty:

• Log in using your USU email & password
• Complete the quick survey upon log in
• Build your student/alumni profile to include all career-related information
• Explore career opportunities, register for upcoming events & fairs, access the career resource library and view university employer contacts
